Privacy Notice
This website has no forms and collects nothing as you read it. This notice covers the site itself and the email correspondence it invites. It does not describe the COHORT application, which is not yet publicly available.
Draft pending legal review. This notice is a prelaunch draft. It has not been reviewed by qualified counsel and is not legal advice. Values shown in [BRACKETS] are placeholders still to be supplied.
Who this notice is from
This website is operated by Martello & Pieto Consulting LLC (“COHORT”, “we”, “us”). Questions about this notice may be sent to Mateo@MartelloPieto.com.
What we collect
This website has no forms. It collects nothing from you as you read it—no sign-up field, no waitlist form, no submission of any kind. There are two ways information reaches us.
- If you email us
- The site publishes one address and invites you to write to it about early access or investment. We then hold whatever you chose to put in your message—your email address, your name, and anything else you decided to tell us. Nothing more, because nothing more was asked for.
- Automatically, when you visit
- Our hosting provider records standard server request logs, which typically include IP address, request time, requested URL, and browser user-agent. These are used to keep the site running and to protect it from abuse—not for profiling or advertising.
Please do not send us sensitive personal information. There is no reason to, and we do not want to hold it.
Why we hold it
- To reply to you, and to contact you about early access when invitations are released in waves.
- To understand who the product should serve, if you chose to tell us.
- To keep the site available and protect it from abuse.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes. Because there is no form, there is also no database of submissions behind this site—correspondence is read by the founder.
Analytics and tracking
This website uses no analytics product, no advertising pixels, no session replay, no heatmaps, and no cross-site tracking. It sets no cookies. If we later introduce a privacy-respecting analytics tool ([ANALYTICS PROVIDER — none at present]), this notice will be updated before it goes live.
Who else is involved
- Hosting
- [HOSTING PROVIDER] serves the pages and keeps the request logs described above.
- [EMAIL PROVIDER] carries and stores messages you send us, as any mail provider would.
There is no form processor, no marketing platform, and no customer-relationship system behind this site.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence and any early-access or investor details it contains for [RETENTION PERIOD], or until you ask us to delete it—whichever comes first. Server logs are kept for the period set by our hosting provider.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete anything you have sent us, at any time, by writing to Mateo@MartelloPieto.com. Ask us to remove you and we will, without requiring a reason. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information; we will honour applicable requests.
This is not the application's privacy architecture
This notice describes a prelaunch marketing website and the email correspondence it invites. It does not describe how the COHORT application stores, protects, or synchronizes relationship data. A separate, fuller privacy notice will accompany the application. Nothing on this page should be read as a claim that the application is end-to-end encrypted, zero-knowledge, or anonymous.
Children
This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this notice as the product moves from Alpha development to Private Beta, then Open Gamma, then public launch. The current version is always the one published here.
Governing law
This notice is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.
